About Bridget W Designs

The website is the new storefront. It’s your opportunity to showcase who you are and what you can offer. When this experience is frustrating or confusing, it can really hurt your relationship with your target audience.

Whether you’re starting from scratch or looking to revamp and reorganize, my role as a user experience (UX) and web designer is to help make your content shine. Since you’re the expert on your content, I’m here to translate that content into a pleasant experience for your target audience.

I want to help make your website aesthetically pleasing and intuitive to navigate. This means having your content organized and grouped in a way that’s easy to understand, and then giving users clear avenues for accessing that content through layout and visual cues. On top of that, we want to make sure your content is accessible to users of all abilities.

About Me

My expertise includes software troubleshooting, information architecture, design prototypes, and accessibility. I’m comfortable in HTML, CSS, and troubleshooting several code languages include JavaScript and PHP. I’m skilled in Figma for interactive prototyping and in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop for graphic design and static mock-ups.

Beyond my web design experience, I have a B.S. in biomedical engineer and experience in technical support for a medical software company.

In my spare time, I love being creative in other ways through music, photography, gardening, and knitting. My other passions include yoga, biking, and spending time with friends and family.
